Silicon nitride and silicon carbide are very strong covalent bond compounds, have similar physical and chemical properties, silicon nitride combined with silicon carbide products with high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, erosion resistance, oxidation resistance and a series of excellent properties. Silicon nitride and silicon carbide as high-grade refractory materials in various atmospheres the normal use temperature can reach 1500 ℃ or so, widely used in ceramics, non-ferrous metallurgy, iron and steel metallurgy, powder metallurgy, chemical industry and other industries.

Silicon nitride combined with silicon carbide material and non-ferrous metals do not infiltrate, and has good insulation properties, so it is widely used in the production process of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper and zinc, especially the ideal material for the production of electrolytic cell side wall lining bricks.
